Gay Dering is a “hairdressers dresser” and a make-up artist with talent and passion for beauty that is both inspiring and contagious. In 1976 she graduated from the Vidal Sassoon Hair Training Academy in San Francisco and has always since been committed to continued education. Mentored by many beauty masters along the way; including the Westmore Academy in Hollywood, Vivienne MacKinder, and the Redken exchange in New York, Gay has reached a level of professionalism that allows her to bring out the very best—no matter who or what the project. In addition to her salon practice she is a freelance Make-up artist for MAC and is also an educator for “Pureology-serious color care.”
